Children First Innovation
CP3 was developed through meaningful collaboration with children, educators, and the OSHC community through research, ensuring it truly reflects the needs and insights of those who understand children best and is grounded in evidence.

This innovative initiative represents a strong partnership between Uniting and The University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre—combining grassroots community wisdom with cutting-edge research to nurture children's social wellbeing and empower them to thrive.
Our research and education team
The Initial CP3 Design Spark
CP3 was origniated by Associate Professor Alyssa Milton and Professor Ian Hickie at the University of Sydney in partnership with Uniting NSW.ACT. Through their research, they believe OSHC is a place where children can be heard, empowered, and supported to thrive—socially, emotionally, and as active and connected leaders in their communities.
